(I have not RPed animals in a long time, so I’m sorry if the bios are a little crude. Also, I can do better than the sample posts...I’m just too lazy to do so. ALSO! Pictures coming soon to a theatre near you! )
Name: Halo
Breed: Mustang
Gender: Stallion
Age: 5
Height: 14.7 hands (about 58.8 inches or about 4’9’’)
Pelt Color: Perlino – A creamy white with darker points on the legs and ear tips. His mane and tail is a blondish, creamy orange color. Around his right front ankle is a black ring marking. On his shoulder is a long straight scar from a previous injury.
Eye Color: Bright Blue
Personality: Halo has a relaxed and mature attitude towards life in general, friendly to a certain point but ready to stand his ground when necessary. But he is young so he has lots of energy to spare when he deems it the time to use it, though he is not prone to excessive talking or the wasting of strength or time. Halo tends to be brave and daring, not quickly willing to back down or flee from peril, especially if it is threatening one of his own or someone he cares for. He does cast a strong shadow, though inside he has a good heart with a soft spot for younger ones.
History: Halo was born in a herd of one of the valleys. His mother was a young palomino mare who had bred with the lead stallion himself. So he was brave since birth, maybe a little overly brave at times but he was watched over and cared for by the herd. He grew strong with a good temperament conditioned by his loving mother and was allowed to stay in the herd longer than normal due to his relaxed nature. But eventually he too was pushed out, to his mother’s dismay, and he took to traveling nearer the mountains in search of something that would fill the hole left in his heart where his family had once been. (He is also the brother of Pixie, though he does not know that he is. His mother had her with another stallion after he was gone from the herd.)
Sample Post: *Halo lays beneath the foliage of a tree, his nose resting upon his front legs as he sleeps, his breath slow and his ears twitching faintly as he dreams. An owl above him hoots loudly, waking the stallion up from his deep and fitful sleep with a start. The stallion glares up into the branches with his piercing blue eyes, grumbling about the rudeness of the night hunters for the lack of respect for those who have to go about life during the daytime. With a huffy sigh, the cream-colored stallion stands up from his bed to trot across the starlit field in search of a new resting place.*

Name: Pixie
Breed: Mustang
Gender: Filly (Young Mare – Foal 1 yr. from adulthood)
Age: 2
Height: 14.3 hands (52.2 inches or 4’3’’)
Pelt Color: Chestnut (Flax) – This color is often mistaken with a palomino except they have red in the color. Her mane and tail are off-white, but nearly completely white. On both hind legs she has white stockings that extend up past her hocks, her front legs remain without markings. Her nose is all white except for a dark chestnut “snip” between her nostrils.
Eye Color: Emerald Green
Personality: Pixie is young and rambunctious, noisy and playful. She does not know willing restraint of her energy and often flaunts it with much cheer. She is a very social filly and enjoys keeping near others like herself, young and old. However, though she may pretend to be brave and fearless she can be quite the chicken and at the first sight of something dangerous she’ll run to the closet and safest looking being. But she is sweet and caring, a good and loyal friend to have around even if she is a little gullible..
History: Pixie was born on a small ranch that was located not far from the foot of the Rockies. Her mother had been taken in and slightly tamed after the ranchers took her in to treat an injury of her back leg. Though the mare still kept her wild nature, the ranchers were not trying to break her spirit. Pixie’s mother happened to be pregnant with her at the time and gave birth on the ranch where the filly learned the love of human hands. But the ranch was struggling to stay in business, eventually losing the place so they set Pixie and her mother free.
Shortly after, Pixie’s mother passed away from the repercussions of her previous injury, leaving the barely weaned baby alone. After mourning her loss, the little horse took to traveling with any horse that she came in contact with. The death of her mother did not break her, but instead left her searching for somewhere to belong. (She is the sister of Halo. She knows this, though she has yet to find her brother. She is always on the lookout for him.)
Sample Post: *The morning sun stretches its glorious golden hands across the sky to grace the world with light to accompany the warm breeze rustling the tall grass of the meadow. Pixie is already up and facing the day, bouncing and kicking between gobbling down a grassy breakfast. The other horses that she is staying with snort and shake their heads in amusement as they watch the filly at play, one mare whinnying a call to her before returning to eating. Pixie wickers softly back, shaking her short mane and trotting energetically back to the herd in order to stand side-by-side with them to continue a more...calm meal.*
