Echo soon slowed down to a steady canter. Her brown man flowing behind her.Soon many horses came into view not only the grey horse she had seen earlier. She was amazed at the variety of them. The grey stallion tall yet wise,a bay stallion watching from above,a pretty appalossa mare in the warm sun,a dark stallion also watching and blue roan stallion which seemed very different indeed.Even though he surveyed te land much like the others he had his own way of doing so.
Echo slowed down to brisk trot and stopped quite some way from the grey stallion.Even though she was very curious and eager to say hello, his height seemed to have caught her eyes

Guide eased his pace as he got within 8 or so feet of the two other horses, easing to the left of the grey stallion, taking in his amazing presence and size. He lowered his head and nickered a friendly yet respectful hello first in the direction of the stallion, and then in the direction of the mare, lowering his head further, neck outstreched in respect for her feminine presence.
He eased his head up and waited for a response, ears forward and relaxed, feeling somewhat at ease in the presence of the big stallion and intrigued in the essence of the beautiful mare who had come to an abrupt halt quite away from where he and the stallion were standing. "My name is Guide," He said after a little while of silence, " I come as a friend." He arched his neck and gently pawed the ground twice in a friendly gesture to assure he meant niether horse any harm.

The mare was secluded from the gathering bunch, of her own choice of course. She wouldn't want in interupt on any gathering the others seemed to be having. And besides: she needed her space to dance. As she spun and twirled around, she pushed herself effortlessly onto her hind legs, turning her head and continuing the circle; she could easily balance like that for a few times around. She threw her mane around for a more dramatic and graceful looking affect, decided to call out in case any other's were intrigued on meeting her.

"My name is Echo and it's a pleasure to meet you"she answered.Probably the most ladylike she has ever been Echo tried hard to make a good first impression unlike she made to her herd long ago.Her mane slightly floated in the morning breeze.

Guide whinnied gleefully at the positive feedback and introduction, proceeding a step forward and taking in the mare in her entirety, the colours of her pelt that faded in and out along her delicate yet agile body, and her mane and tail that seemed to drift along with the soft wind, seemlessly blending with the powerful energies of the area. He titled his head slightly to the side and smiled genuinely in awe of her energy. "The pleasure is all mine." He turned to await a response from the stallion.

Bear took a confident step forward, noticing that he was surrounded by several lovely mares. He kept his head low in respect and nickered softly as he passed a stallion. There were others too...one more distant from the rest. However, Bear believed that it would be wise of him to befriend these horses now, at least while a herd was still to be formed.
With a tilt of his blunt head, he acknowledged the mare who had ran to greet him. "Who is leader here?" he rasped. He then shook his mane, correcting himself for disreguarding formalities and manners. "I am Bear." Life within a human tribe had nearly stripped him of his equine affinity.

Jan came down to the river where there were two other stallions and some mares. His thickly muscled legs were sore from his journey. He bent his head down to drink the cool water of the river a few feet down from where others were conveening. It wasn't that he had a desire to be rude, but he saw no reason to speak.
Quenching his thirst, he laid down on the bank, his right hip giving a stiff protest to the motion. The water felt wonderful on his legs. Having a black coat was definite disadvantage in the sun.
Curious as to what the others were doing, he turned his head so he could see them out of his good eye.

Guide raised his head and his ears moved forward as he bathed in the glow of the mares lovely response. He felt good that he had recieved a good audience with both of the horses.
He moved forward with the larger stallion known as Bear so that he, Bear and Echo could converse more easily. As they approached Echo, Guide offered up, " I don't actually know if there is a leader here," his head tilted slightly for the best eye contact with the stallion. "are you aware of such a being in these parts Echo?". He turned his muzzle towards the mare, still in awe of her beautifully unique colours and the way her mane and tail seemed to dance along in the wind, softening his voice, thinking that even a harsh tone would damage the soft energy that encompassed the mare.
As he awaited a response from either Echo or Bear, Guide began to pick up on the other horses moving closer to the gathering group. A large dark stallion had lain down nearby soacking his legs in the river, Guide felt a stong eye fall upon him, not a menacing or unfirendly one, just an observer. He felt compelled to go and invite the stallion over, but knew it not his place and stayed rooted.
A dancing agile mare had called out from the other banks of the river for company, Guide raised his head and called back out in her direction, eager to bring the group together so that a friendly harmony could flow.
Another mare was wading through the river towards them, seeming friendly and intriged on conversation. Two other stallions had entered the area too. One looking exhausted from a long chase settling into the water on the river banks edge and another with a blue circle around his eye similar to the eagle marking on Guide's own shoulder.
Another presence loomed a little way up the river, at the mouth that ran off of the mountain. This one was angry...annoyed and strong. Guide clenched his teeth at the thought of conflict, his memories flooding, he repressed them and regained his composure, losing his worries in the friendliness of conversation with Bear and Echo.
(Whoo...that was a long one..)

Not far from Echo, Bear, Guide and the others Colors heard them talking. Wanting to interact with the other equines, she approached slowly. First introducing herself she shook her head downwards, almost as a short bow, her white mane stripped with brown danced on the top of her neck. Looking up she said "I am Colors," then turning to Guide "I agree as I am unsure of any of us being a leader, but yet again I might be wrong."

(The icon ... I'm working on a better one. This one will have to do for now.)
Echo turned her head to guide."No, i do not know of a being who calls himself leader around here ... if there was he surely would have drove us away."Echo answered politely.
Her eyes shifted to the left.A stallion farther away looked almost annoyed of there presence. His dark figure hard to make out as her lingered in the shadows of the rocks.Echo sighed and shifted her eyes toward Colors.
"I agree, and by the way I am Echo"she answered.Echo proud of her fancy behaviour listened carefully to the others, wondering would the stallions fight for the lead role?

Guide shuffled on the spot raising his head, his ears turning back, looking over the other horses to the approaching threatening figure. "I fear that might still be a feasible happening,Echo." He blew the air through his nostrils and bowed his head again greeting Colours, who fortunately had answered his call and joined the conversation. "I am Guide, it's a pleasure to make your aquaintance." He pawed the ground again in friendly greeting, forwarding his ears again into the conversation, the presence of the lingering threat strengthening in his mind.

(O ... could you make me an icon.My look is pretty simple no markings just an odd color. It explain's on my Character Info in the Create A Character List.Just tell me if you need anything else.)
"You are most certainly right,I guess we'll have to wait or maybe he is already here."she answered, now looking back at the drk stallion who looked much annoyed of the gathering earlier.he did not act like he owned the land but certainly acted like he lived here a wished us gone.
Yet again it brought her to the idea of a challenge of for lead role.I could happen but the wild is unpredictable and so are those who live in it.Echo turned her head back toward the three horses around her and hoped that more would come together as Echo very well knew, being left out wasn't pleasurable.

(Sweet. I Private Messaged you the URL. Hope you like it!)
Guide kept his head in the conversation, an eye and an ear roaming toward the threat every now and again. He raised his head and blew through his nostrils again, nickering very gently and deep so his chest and stomach shook, ears back, he walked around the group of horses and stood, his backside closest to the unfriendly stallion, his head back into the conversation, one ear back, listening for his approach.
Guide didn't like bad energies. Peaceful as his demeanor was, he was a fit, strong an agile young stallion, and ready to defend his new friends, the likes of which he'd never had before.

"I'm glad to meet you both aswell," Taking a short bow in Echo's direction, then in Guide's. "..It is a puzzle how the rank of leader will be sorted out, that is if anyone doesn't already have it." Noticing Guide's ear occasionaly twitch backward, toward the large stallion with a darker hue, she gave a wuick glance at the stallion, but then kept her attention to those she would call her new friends. She didn't know about the stallion so she quickly steered her couriosity away from him, for now atleast. "So are we all new here?" Colors questioned to all of hearing range.
